Passengers at the Rashidiya Metro Station towards the UAE Exchange route reportedly faced delays on Wednesday morning.
Residents took to social media to report long delays on the metro's Red Line from around 8am with particularly large lines seen at the Rashidiya station Union.
One user posted a picture of long queue at Rashidiya metro station on Twitter. Another commuter said the train is not moving for 15 minutes and doors are shut.
