The Ministry of Health on Wednesday received a shipment of vaccines from the World Health Organisation and funded by the European Union's Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis (Madad), to support the Kingdom’s immunisation efforts.

The shipment included 61,570 doses of the measles vaccine, 54,900 doses of the DTP vaccine, 308,000 doses of the polio vaccine, in addition to 144,710 doses of the hexavalent vaccine. The inoculations also included the double viral vaccines, which are given to first-grade students, 10-grade students and pregnant women.
