ArabFinance: The Egyptian Cabinet gave the green light on August 26th for including a human medicine faculty at Horus University, according to an official statement.
The project proposal included that the academic year at the Faculty of Medicine to begin in September 2023 in line with opening Horus University Hospital.
Adding a medicine school to the private university, which is located in New Damietta City, aims to reduce traveling from one governorate to another for education.
The urban structure of Horus University was reportedly modified in 2017 to build the education facility on a land space of 5.10 feddans.
