Muscat: The Ministry of Health has announced that it got one million tablets of hydroxychloroquine from the Republic of India.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Health said: “The Ministry of Health ables to purchase of one million tablets of hydroxychloroquine from India, which the Ministry approved as one of the medicines used to treat COVID-19.”

“The Ministry wishes to express its thanks to the concerned authorities in the friendly Republic of India for facilitating the granting of permission to obtain this medicine exceptionally,” the statement added
