The Kuwait health ministry on Sunday reported 508 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 616 recoveries.

Three new deaths were also reported.

This takes the total number of cases in the country to 76,205, and recoveries to 68,135. The death tally has now risen to 451.

There are 7,569 active cases in the country, of which 117 are in serious condition.

As many as 2,863 new Covid-19 tests were carried out in the country, taking the total to 558,800.
