MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday registered 809 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 603 recoveries and one fatality.
A Bahraini man, 72, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 503.
Of the new cases, 323 were expat workers, 472 contacts of active cases and 14 travel-related.
An additional 603 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 129,845.
Of the 7,202 active cases, 127 are receiving treatment and 52 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 137,550 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 3,446,516 tests.
