Forty-six Bahrainis were evacuated from Oman, following the directives of His Majesty King Hamad to provide all means of assistance and support to nationals wishing to return to the kingdom.

The evacuation was co-ordinated by the Foreign Ministry and Bahrain's embassy in Muscat.

Bahrain's Ambassador in Oman Dr Juma bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi affirmed the embassy’s keenness of follow up with the citizens and attend to their needs.

He also expressed appreciation to the authorities concerned in Oman for their co-operation in facilitating the return of Bahraini nationals to the kingdom.

A total of 192 Bahraini citizens have been evacuated from the sultanate so far.
