Five days after activating the Cabinet’s decision to reopen the airport to its full capacity as of last Sunday, statistics show the number of flights arriving and departing was 521, with 260 incoming flights and 261 outgoing, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The statistics showed the total passenger traffic at the airport was about 65,759 passengers, including 28,228 arrivals and 31,516 departures, while about 5,015 passengers used Kuwait as a transit point. In this regard, a source told the daily that the airport is witnessing a gradual increase in the operation of regular commercial flights for all airlines, according to the requirements and needs of travelers.
