A new traffic rule that was announced by the Abu Dhabi Police on Saturday will come into effect tomorrow.
In a tweet, the Abu Dhabi Police - Traffic and Patrols Directorate announced that the rightmost lane on King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Street will be designated for emergency vehicles, buses and taxis only. The announcement covers both directions of the street.
Unauthorised vehicles that drive on the rightmost lane will be handed a Dh400 fine.
