ITFC’s total financings to Egyptian entities hit $14bln

Egypt - The total value of financing by the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) to Egyptian entities reached around $14 billion in August 2022, Minister of Planning and Internal Trade Hala El-Said revealed, according to an official statement on September 7th.

In 2022, the ITFC provided total financings of $1.19 million to the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC).

El-Said held a meeting with top executives at the ITFC including its CEO Hani Salem Sonbol.
