TUNIS - Tunisian airports' global passenger handling capacity is estimated at about 14 million passengers per year. The Civil Aviation and Airports Office ( OACA ) is managing and running seven international airports.

These airports are as follows:
Tunis-Carthage airport: an annual handling capacity of 5 million passengers (about 79% of scheduled international flights, 16% of charter flights and 5% of domestic flights.)

Djerba-Zarzis airport: 4.5 million passengers per year (75% of non-scheduled international flights, 18% of scheduled flights and 7% of domestic flights.)

Sfax-Tyna airport: 500 000 passengers per year ( 68% of domestic flights, 27% of scheduled international flights and 5% of charter flights).

Tabarka November 7 airport: 250 000 passengers per year ( 87% of domestic flights and 13% of non-scheduled international flights ).

Tozeur-Nefta airport: 400 000 passengers each year (60% of scheduled international flight, 31% of domestic flights and 9% of charter flights).

Gafsa-Ksar airport: 200 000 passengers per year (100% of domestic flights )

Gabes-Matmata airport: 200 000 passengers per year ( 95% of domestic flights and 5% of scheduled international flights).

The OACA has granted the operating of Monastir Habib Bourguiba airport as of January 1st , 2008 to Turkish TAV ( 3.5 million passengers per year and 89 % of non-scheduled international flights ).
