Qatar's Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics on Sunday released the following second-quarter gross domestic product data, adjusted for inflation.

NOTE. The base year is 2013. Latest figures are preliminary and previous quarters are revised slightly.

The mining and quarrying sector, which includes oil and gas, shrank 1.1 percent from a year earlier but expanded 3.9 percent quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter.

The rest of the economy grew 6.1 percent from a year earlier and 0.3 percent from the previous quarter.
