The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (MoECA) and the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt signed an action programme for a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation for environmental protection.

The signing of the action programme comes to support the integration and cooperation in the field of environmental protection and climate affairs, complementing their joint efforts in serving the environmental work and implementing the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of environmental protection signed between the two countries in Muscat on 7 December 2009.

The program work was signed by Najib bin Ali Al Rowas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs, and Mohamed Salah Al Saad, Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Affairs Department at the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
