Egypt is considering cooperation in the field of wired and wireless communication with India’s TEJAS, according to a statement by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on January 11th.

Through this cooperation, the North African country aims to meet the demand for wired and wireless communication services in the local market as well as in the Arab and African markets.

On a similar note, the government discussed cooperation with the Indian company Tech Mahindra, and the company’s future expansion plan.

These discussions came during the Egyptian communication minister’s visit to India from January 9th to 13th, where he meets a number of senior officials and top executives in the communication and IT sector.
