KUWAIT CITY: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) revealed the possibility of expatriate employees submitting a request for the cancellation of their work permits in case of cancellation of their residence permits by the Ministry of Interior based on a final court ruling against them, reports Al- Rai daily.

It explained that a request to cancel the work permit can be submitted through the electronic forms service. Necessary documents must be attached.

The physical presence of the employer in question or the registered delegate (mandoub) is mandatory.

Cancellation of a work permit based on a ruling issued against an expatriate employee requires the submission of a registered financial guarantee letter in the name of the worker in favor of the authority, at a value of KD 250.
