DUBAI, June 5th, 2013 -- The General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare (YSW) has participated in the celebrations of World Environment Day, which falls on June 5th every year. The move comes within its social and national responsibility to preserve the environment.
Ibrahim Abdul Malik Al-Amin, Secretary-General of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare, emphasised the importance of concerted efforts being made to promote the culture of conserving the environment and all its components, and putting into practice the principles of this year's slogan celebrating World Environment Day, "Think..Eat..Save". He underscored that environmental sustainability requires assisting the nation's youth to contribute to building a better future by balancing the developmental social and economic dimensions.
