Oman Computer Services Company “OCS Infotech” recently organised a workshop on ‘Simplifying and maximising your security ecosystem’, with Infoblox. The workshop saw the attendance of several members from the public and the private sectors.

Commenting on the importance of the workshop, Anu Cherian Philip, General Manager of OCS Infotech, said, "The main aim of this workshop is to learn how integrations and using the right tools can help to empower the security teams of companies.

Moreover, by giving a better understanding of the security ecosystem and the benefit of a complementary solution, businesses can detect, contain and remediate threats even quicker through a high-level response integration system."

The workshop also saw the discussion of automatically sharing indicators of compromise across multi vendor security systems. This will enhance visibility throughout respective extended networks regardless of infrastructure complexity.

Ali Sleiman, Regional Presale Technical Director Infoblox – Middle East and Africa, said, “As we know the world around us is changing as organisations digitally transform through cloud initiatives. This change requires a modern networking and security architecture.

Infoblox addresses DNS security by providing enforcement at the DNS control plane, on which over 90 per cent of malware activity takes place..”

“Our BloxOne Threat Defense solution is a simple and quick way for customers to detect potential threats. OCS is a partner that we are closely working with in Oman. This collaboration will help us better serve regional customers. Together, we can work towards educating our customer base in Oman, sharing knowledge, and generating awareness of how Infoblox and OCS can benefit them,” he added.
