DUBAI - Emaar has awarded the Dh2.7 billion contract entailing 12 million square feet of retail space in the Dubai Mall to a joint venture formed between DUTCO Balfour Beatty (DBB) & Al Ghandi and Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCIC).

DBB and Al Ghandi and CCIC have selected Emirates Bank for the Dubai Mall project as the bank has expertise in contract financing. The signing ceremony, held at EBG head office on January 12, was attended by officials of EBI, DBB and CCIC.
