Unveiling the new product, Naim Abdel Hadi, General Manager, Trakker Middle East said: "C-track Secure PLUS is a real time GPS/GPRS vehicle tracking device. It can locate vehicles with exceptional accuracy of up to 4 meters using the latest GPS/GPRS technology.""Installing the C-track Secure PLUS in vehicles ensures complete control, with up-to-date knowledge about the vehicle's movements providing complete peace of mind. C-track Secure PLUS is ideal for individuals, chauffer driven vehicles, and small fleets."According to Trakker's officials, C-track Secure PLUS provides accurate GPS-based directions. Authorized users can request position, speed or status information, right up to the street and nearest GPS based location, ensuring overall safety, security, and control. C-track authorized online users also view current location and location history of vehicles. The web application automatically creates an easy-to-maintain electronic logbook. Moreover, vehicles can also be tracked using mobile phones and the 24-hour Trakker call center, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. "C-track Secure PLUS creates Preferred Movement Area for vehicles, which in turn will raise an alarm if this area is breached and automatically inform the Trakker Call Centre; the authorized user is then informed through an SMS / email. The system can identify vehicle movement even when the ignition is off. Once the unit detects an activity, it will generate an alarm by informing the Trakker Call Centre. It also alerts of any unauthorized vehicle use, regardless of whether the ignition is on or off," explains Abdel Hadi. C-track Secure PLUS operates on GSM in neighboring countries and the vehicle can be tracked in that country by cell phone and web application. An SMS international roaming contract will be activated to allow this facility. C-track Solo and C-track Assist are two other top-end fleet management products that are used by fleet owners in the UAE and Qatar and will be introduced soon in Kuwait , Bahrain, and Oman.
