ArabFinance: Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly affirmed Thursday, April 29th, as a paid holiday in observance of Sinai Liberation Day instead of Sunday, April 25th, according to a recent statement by the cabinet.

It is still not clear whether there would be a holiday on Sunday, May 2nd, for Coptic Easter. The day is a statutory holiday for Christians only, but banks and the Egyptian Exchange have traditionally taken it as a day off.

Furthermore, the government has not yet decided on the holiday for Sham El Nessim.
