The British Butler Institute will open onboard Dubai's floating hotel, Queen Elizabeth 2, on January 26, 2019 – welcoming the first students for a 10-day butler’s course coached by some of the world’s most talented butlers.

Designed to provide butler administrators, household personnel, hotel front office staff and private jet and yacht crew the advanced knowledge and tools to learn or further develop the art of service etiquette – this will be the first British Butler Institute in the region.

Founder of the British Butler Institute and former Butler to a number of royal households -  Principal Gary Williams, commented: “In a region so highly regarded for its unparalleled service standards and for its plethora of luxury travel experiences – we are very excited to be providing such a unique learning facility for those employed within the industry and even for those who would like to improve their etiquette and hosting skills for personal reasons.“

Established over 20 years ago, the British Butler Institute is present in 16 locations worldwide and operates in some of the world’s most popular tourism destinations including the UK, Singapore, China, India, Italy and Mexico.

Offering a wide selection of courses covering everything from polishing shoes and packing a suitcase, to F&B service etiquette, flower arrangements and interacting with VVIP’s – the institution is set to play an essential role in further enhancing the service delivery for which the region is renowned.

Williams continued: “The QE2 is a British icon and in her 50-year history has been no stranger to hosting some of the world’s most discerning people who have very high expectations in terms of service - so a location such as this is the perfect fit.”

Students from out-of-town can opt to stay onboard and take advantage of special room rates - combining learning with a unique leisure experience and enjoying some of the incredible dining and nightlife opportunities available to them. - TradeArabia News Service
