Saudi Arabia - The Saudi Data and Al Authority (SDAIA) has signed a MoU with Oivan Group, a leading Finland-based provider of digital transformation and cybersecurity services.

The agreement, inked in the presence of SDAIA President Dr Abdullah bin Sharaf Al Ghamdi, is aimed at development, design and improvement of open-source secure software and applications.

Plans are also afoot to establish a software house within SDAIA premises, reported SPA.

The MoU was co-signed by Assistant Director for Tawakkalna at the National Information Center Engineer Saleh bin Salem Musaibah, and Vice President for Solutions at Oivan Group Timo Hirvonen, it added.
