Saudi Services For Electro Mechanic Works (SSEM), a closed joint stock company, through a ministerial resolution, has established itself as one of the leading Saudi companies in the turnkey execution of large and diverse construction projects and has been classified as Grade 1 for both electrical and mechanical works.

SSEM is a 100 percent Saudi-owned company under the Al-Rashid Group, and has made significant contribution in the construction projects under the Saudi infrastructural development.

The key to SSEM success for more than 20 years has been the commitment of the owners to consistently deliver turnkey projects on time and to the highest international safety and quality standards.

Pakistani national Ishtiaq Aziz Hashmi, having 19 years of experience in HSE field (15 years in Oman and 4 years in KSA), has joined SSEM in 2011, and enhanced HSE in SSEM for various projects with clients like SWCC, SEC, Aramco, Royal Commission, NWC and NGC, etc.).

He is working as a HSE division manager with the help of General Manager Omar A. Hamze, and large team of safety officers, safety engineers and safety managers. He has some big achievements in HSE field like Silver Banner-2012 and Gold Banner - 2013 from Aramco to Compliance HSE in Project Sites. He has trained up to 3,000 staff and engineers in HSE field. He is motivating young Saudi staff for safe work practice and enhance safety culture in their work activities.

Due to his efforts, SSEM has received numerous awards for its contribution in conferences and forums,  in addition to its safety practices and capabilities.
