Sharjah, May 18, 2005 (WAM) -- H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received here Wednesday a letter from Senegalese President, Abdoulaye Wade.
The letter, which deals with bilateral relations between thetwo countries, was delivered to the Ruler by Karim Wade, son of the Senegalese President, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.
Karim conveyed to the Ruler greetings and well-wishes from the President Wade. He also briefed the Ruler about Senegal'spreparation to host the Islamic conference in Dakar in November this year.
They discussed efforts by officials of both countries to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
Present at the meeting were a number of sheikhs and Senegalese Ambassador, Cheik Tidiane Sy.
