SINGAPORE/KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Saudi Aramco plans to shut its condensate splitter at the Ras Tanura refinery in May for planned maintenance, trading sources told Reuters on Monday.

One of the sources said the 225,000 barrel per day splitter, which processes light oils, would be down for 40 days.

Ras Tanura is Saudi Arabia's largest oil refinery with a capacity of 550,000 bpd.

Saudi Aramco did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.
