Amman - HH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, the Regent, on Sunday met with Spanish foreign minister José Margallo and briefed him on the latest developments in the Middle East, especially the Syrian situation and its impact on Jordan, which is hosting the largest number of refugees.
The Regent also briefed the Spanish minister on the efforts exerted by Jordan, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to achieve peace in the region based upon the two-state solution.
Margallo hailed ties between the two countries, His Majesty King Abdulla II's keenness to develop those ties and His Majesty's efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
