DOHA: RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) recently extended its support for a multi cultural fundraising family event with the Doha Garden Club as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
Doha Garden Club partners with landlords and homeowners every year to share the beauty of their gardens with the public.
For one special day, Qataris open the doors to their homes and welcome over 150 Doha residents to the wonders of their gardens and to share gardening skills while raising awareness on the importance of creating a greener environment.
RasGas is an active partner in Qatar's drive for sustainable development and aims at raising awareness on the importance of preserving and protecting the environment for generations to come. The proceeds of the ticket sales of the event will be donated by Doha Garden Club to local green initiatives designed to beautify Qatar and support the goals of the Ministry of Environment in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
