The first private technical test centre for heavy vehicles opened its doors yesterday in Sitra.
The General Directorate of Traffic inaugurated the new facility which is run by Yousif Khalil Almoayyed & Sons company.
The centre, which operates at normal working hours, is designed to deal with all types of heavy vehicles.
Technicians and employees have been trained to work at the new hub.
