ABU DHABI, July 10th, 2013 (WAM)-- Scholars from various countries, who are in the UAE at the invitation of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, yesterday started delivering their Ramadan lectures at a number of mosques in Abu Dhabi.
These religious activities are part of a daily programme organised in collaboration between the General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments (Awqaf) and the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. The guest scholars' lectures addressed the topic of 'how to welcome Ramadan'. The scholars greeted President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the leadership and the people of the UAE, the Muslim Nation and the Arab Nation on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan. They also expressed appreciation of the interest of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa in spending the Holy Month with good deeds and worship.
