ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- Pakistan and Morocco Friday agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism, education, media and exchange of scholars.

The Pak-Morocco Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) met here and agreed to reactivate the agreement signed between the two countries in 2003 to promote national bonds, strengthen ties of Islamic cooperation and reaffirming their commitments to the teaching of Islam and its noble moral values.

According to a press statement, both sides also discussed the matters of mutual interests and major areas in which the two countries can enhance cooperation.

A six-member delegation led by the Director of Traditional Education Abdel-Wahed Bendoud represented Morocco while Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs Najeeb Ullah Malik represented Pakistan at the talks.
