Pakistani media on Thursday gave wide coverage to the remarks of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that Iran is much stronger today despite sanctions.
'The News' quoted Supreme Leader as saying that 'Westerners are making much hype about sanctions against Iran, but they don't understand that they have vaccinated the Iranian people themselves by imposing sanctions over the past 30 years.'
'Daily Times' reported that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that Iran is '100 times stronger' today than 30 years ago despite the multitude of Western sanctions imposed since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
'Pakistan Today' in its report said that Supreme Leader has said Iran 'has resisted all sanctions and is now 100 times stronger than 30 years ago.'
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a speech to a women's international conference on 'Islamic awakening' in Tehran.
'Frontier Post' reported that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has dismissed sanctions imposed on Iran saying the country was '100 times stronger' than before.
'The Iranian nation, through life, wealth and loved ones, has stood up to all plots and sanctions and has advanced to the extent that today we are 100 times stronger compared with 30 years ago,' Ayatollah Khamenei told a women's conference in Tehran.
Samaa TV channel said that Supreme Leader has said that Iran is '100 times stronger' today than 30 years ago despite the multitude of Western sanctions imposed since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
'Westerners are making much hype about sanctions against Iran but they don't understand that they have vaccinated the Iranian people themselves by imposing sanctions over the past 30 years,' Ayatollah Khamenei said.
