Regency International Company, a joint venture of Oman-based Seven Seas Company and Dubai's Regency Group for Corporate Management, inaugurated its second outlet, 'Grand Plus' in the sultanate recently. Spread over 5,000sq ft and located on Al Noor Street in Ruwi, it is the second in the chain of five retail outlets planned in Oman and 32nd initiative of Regency Group. It offers readymade garments, textiles, sarees, churidars, infant essentials, abayas,  footwear, luggage and linens. 

Anwar Ameen Chelat, managing director, Regency Group, said, "We have 17 years of experience in countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and India. We opened a hypermarket in the wilayat of Saham last month. We plan to open three more stores, one each in Sohar, Ibri and Ruwi."

Sebastian Manavalan, general manager of Seven Seas Group, said, "I am very pleased to be part of this new venture. We are sure this will take us long way in Oman."

Nizar P K, manager, operations and retail marketing, Regency Group, said, "This is a part of our expansion drive in Oman. By opening this store, we are getting closer to the Omani community. The outlet will allow customers to buy quality products at competitive prices."
