KUWAIT, April 24 (KUNA) -- Undersecretary of Ministry of Commerce and Industry Abdul-Aziz Al-Khaldi affirmed Sunday that no fraud cases were reported in the last gold and jewellery exhibitions, hailing the great rule played by the inspectors of the Department of Precious Metals and Customs Authorities in preventing any attempt to introduce fake products into the exhibition. Following the opening of the 9th Kuwait Gold & Jewellery Exhibition at the International Fair Ground here, Al-Khaldi said Kuwait jewellery exhibition occupies an advanced position among specialized international jewellery exhibitions. The Commerce and Industry Ministry's official said his ministry has put all its potential to serve such kinds of exhibitions which serve the whole Kuwaiti commercial activities and economy.
For his part, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Kuwait International Fair Company Abdulrahman Al-Nassar said over 100 local and international fashion houses, department stores, boutiques galleries, wholesalers and retailers take part in the exhibition. This exhibition is become the biggest in Kuwait and the whole region due to the number for the participants and the diversity of the displayed products, he said. Al-Nassar thanked the Commerce and Industry ministry and sponsoring companies for rendering such an exhibition a huge success. The 9th Gold & Jewelry Exhibition 2011 is one of the most fascinating events dedicated to jewelry sector in Kuwait. It is the organized on annual bases.
