Morocco's first offshoring zone, CasaShore, was launched on December 22nd in Casablanca. The cost of this industrial park project aimed at attracting white-collar jobs from large foreign companies is estimated at MAD 1.7 billion. The project is expected to generate 60,000 direct and indirect jobs, which will contribute approximately MAD 5 billion in revenue in 2014. Several European companies have reportedly expressed interest in relocating some of their office work to Casablanca.

Several European companies have reportedly expressed interest in relocating some of their office work to Casablanca.
The CasaShore project will be carried out within the framework of the Moroccans call "Emergence" program, in partnership with the ministry for Industry, Trade and Economy in the province of Casablanca. CDG will be a key partner in this project through its subsidiary MHV. A total surface of 55 hectares has been set aside, 5 km from Casablanca and 20 km from the Mohammed V. International Airport.
The first phase will be completed in 2007 and will launch basic services required to run a successful business park such as telecommunication services, broadband Internet access, banking services, postal services, and several peripheral facilities such as sport centers and shopping centers.
