BAGHDAD: The Iraqi minister of finance, Baqir al-Zubeidi, on Monday said that the country's economic policy has resulted in a "free and controlled economy."
The remark was made during his meeting with MPs Kareem al-Yaqoubi and Bassem Shareef from the Fadhila Bloc, according to a ministerial statement received by Aswat al-Iraq.
"The wise economic policy and accurate planning that have been constantly adopted by the Iraqi government resulted in a free and controlled economy," the statement quoted Zubeidi as saying.
