RAS AL KHAIMAH - Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has welcomed H.B. Fuller, one of the world's largest pureplay adhesives companies, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion goals.
The move was cemented by acquiring a 15,000 m2 facility of an adhesives manufacturer based in Al Hamra Industrial Zone – XCHEM International LLC.
With its latest set-up in Ras Al Khaimah, the company joins a thriving business community of over 18,000 businesses, including around 400 American companies and numerous manufacturing giants based in the economic zone.
Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, and Boz Malik, Senior Vice President, Global Construction Adhesives of H.B. Fuller, marked the facility launch during a recent lease signing ceremony.
Jallad, commented, "We are thrilled to welcome H.B. Fuller to the RAKEZ business community. Their decision to choose the UAE as a business hub for the MENA region reinforces the international recognition of our country's dynamic and robust economic environment."
Malik said, "This strategic investment in the UAE aligns with our vision of global expansion and growth and supports our long-term plan of diversifying H.B. Fuller's construction adhesives business outside the US.
