KUWAIT, AUG 8 (KUNA) -- The second formative arts exhibition for youth was inaugurated at the Ahmed Al-Adwani Hall Tuesday night with the participation of 62 artists showcasing 140 pieces of art, including photographic art.
Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Bader Al-Rifai told KUNA more females participated in this year's exhibition in comparison to last year.
Al-Rifai confirmed the council's keenness to encourage such artists by allocating cash prizes to be awarded for distinguished pieces.
The exhibition is held as part of the second Summer Cultural Festival and will continue until August 18.
