KUWAIT, July 22 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Handball Association announced on Tuesday names of team members participating in the 11th Asian Championship for Handball (World Cup), to be hosted by Jordan from July 25th until August 5th.

Association Secretary General Bader Al-Thiab told KUNA that the team would leave tomorrow morning, Wednesday, to the Jordanian capital, Amman, headed by board member Ahmad Al-Buhairi and coach Nabil Taha, assistant coach Musaed Al-Randi and Bassem Al-Subky as goalkeepers' coach.

Al-Thiab noted that 16 players were selected to the team participating in championship and they are Mahdi Khan, Mohammad Mit'eb, Abdulrahman Bilal, Baqer Khuraibet, Salem Abdulsalam, Abdullah Al-Said, Ali Ashkanani, Ahmad Al-Sarhan, Abdullah Mustafa, Saleh Al-Mossawi, Mishari Taha, Saad Al-Haidary, Mohammad Al-Gharaballi, Suleiman Al-Shemali, Nasser Bu Khadhra and Ali Al-Said.

Al-Thiab wished success for the team in the championship and to continue winning streaks for Kuwaiti handball at all age categories in the Asian continent.

Kuwait is in Group-IV, also including Hong Kong and Qatar.
