ROME -- Managing Director of Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Bader Al-Saad arrived in Rome in an official visit to attend several meetings in order to fetch the best options of investments in Italy.
Al-Saad said in a statment to KUNA that his two-day visit was at the invitation of the Italian Foreign Ministry as part of the friendship and cooperation ties.
The KIA official said that he will be meeting on Tuesday with foreign minister Franco Frattini, after his early meeting with Secretary General and the Chairman of the Italian global economic interests, in addition to a meeting with Deputy Minister of Economic Development for Foreign Trade.
Al-Saad added that he would be also meeting with Italian businessmen from top companies like Finmeccanica Group, ENEL group, and other representatives in business and financial sector, "This will be an opportunity to identify investment opportunities and how to participate in them." Italian Federation of Industries, will host a luncheon in honor of Al-Saad in the precense of officials from different sectors.
