He was speaking at Microsoft's technical road show which connects with the technology community in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. The event which will continue until Sunday is aimed at professionals, developers, Microsoft Partners and IT decision makers, delivering an update on Microsoft's latest innovations and products. "Our growing numbers enable Microsoft to have more direct interaction with all our customers across the region," he added.

On Saturday Microsoft also launched for the first time in the region - Business Solutions Axapta software. Axapta, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, provides functionality to help management making business decisions, distributing more effectively through supply chain management, and increasing production efficiencies with production management systems." The event targets IT professionals specifically, providing a technical overview of various products including Window Server 2003 SP1, ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition and the Live Communication Server 2005.
Microsoft Business Solutions Axapta ERP provides outstanding performance for customers in a flexible and cost effective manner, delivering bottom-line business benefits, says Monzer Tohme, MBS channel and sales manager for Microsoft North Gulf. "It's a multiple language, multiple currency enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution with core strengths in manufacturing and e-business, and strong functionality for the wholesale and services industries," he added.
