ALEXANDRIA, Egypt, April 6 (KUNA) -- Political Advisor at the Kuwait embassy in Cairo Fahad Al-Dhafiri affirmed Sunday his country's keenness to develop the Arab cultural sphere especially here in Egypt.

He told KUNA during celebrations of Al-Arabi Magazine's 50th anniversary that cultural relations between the two countries have been solid and stable in the pervious years, saying that Kuwait's participation in the event was a sign that relations were good and developing rapidly.

He underlined the importance of Al-Arabi Magazine as a mean to preserve Arab cultural advancement, stressing that the participation of Minister of Information Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah was to backup the development of the magazine.

The celebrations witnessed the attendance of Director General of the Arab League Education, Culture and Scientific Organization (ALESCO) Al-Munji Busnina, Al-Arabi Editor-in Chief Suleiman Al-Askari, and Board Chairman of the Foundation of Al-Babtain's Prize for Poetic Creativity Abdulaziz Al-Babtain.
