SANAA-YEMEN: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KBZF) has delivered two blood storage units, 450 units of donated blood and medicines to the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in Socotra Island, Yemen.
The Director of the hospital, Ali Saeed Al Makheeni, as he took delivery of the donation, praised the Foundation for its support to the hospital and the local community. The first phase of the modern Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital was opened on December 6 last year in Hadibo, the capital of Socotra Island. It is fitted with advanced equipment and has two operating theatres, an intensive care unit (ICU) and gynecology, maternity and infants wards.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2013.
