Jordan Press and Publication Company's board of directors appointed Dr Nabil Al-Sharif as Responsible Editor-in Chief of Ad-Dustour daily newspaper to succeed Mr Osama Al-Sharif who submitted his resignation to the board. Dr Nabil had submitted his resignation as Jordan's Ambassador to Morocco in addition to Mauritania and Senegal, a post that he held following the positions he held previously as Editor in Chief of Ad-Dustour and then as Minister of Information.
 
Dr Nabil, a holder of PhD in English Literature, lectured at Yarmouk University and University of Jordan in the 1980s and 1990s, and has many writings in the literary and media fields. The board of directors also appointed Mr Muhammad Al-Tal as Ad-Dustour's Editor in Chief. Tal has worked at the newspaper since 20 years in various departments as Managing Editor and for the past three years as Deputy Editor in Chief. He holds a BA in Press & Media and a High Diploma in Management.
