DUBAI, 30th April, 2017 (WAM) -- In line with its approach towards applying the best international technical practices, Jebel Ali Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant under Dubai Municipality Waste Management Department, has obtained three ISO certificates in integrated management systems.
The Jebel Ali Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant accomplished this achievement after fulfilling the requirements for obtaining certificates in three areas, which are, Quality Management Systems ISO 9001: 2015, Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001: 2015, and Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (OHSAS 18001: 2007). Abdul Majid Sifaie, Director of Waste Management Department at Dubai Municipality, said that this achievement will enhance the department's mission to achieve its strategic objectives. "It has contributed to the achievement of many benefits, the most important of which is the acquisition of more skills and knowledge for employees and the improvement of the services provided to customers," he said.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2017.
