Tabriz, East Azarbaijan - A test casting line using Lost Foam pattern method was set up yesterday in the Tabriz-based Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company (ITMC).
Tabriz, East Azarbaijan - A test casting line using Lost Foam pattern method was set up yesterday in the Tabriz-based Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company (ITMC).
"We aim to keep up with the world's most prominent casting companies," said managing director of ITMC's Casting Co. Mohammad Zamanlu. He added that Lost Foam casting is now regarded as one of the best methods for machining and finishing metals and alloys, including cast iron and aluminum casting. Lost foam casting continues to grow in popularity among casting companies, because it enables them to produce near-net-shaped components of high complexity with thin walls and other fine-scale features and parts that require fewer gaskets to assemble.
