TEHRAN -- For the first time ever in the country, the CNG (compressed natural gas) compressor was manufactured by the Iranian experts and will be soon exported to Germany, Bahram Barani, the chairman of the board of directors of Barun Air and Gas Compressor Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Company said on Monday.

Barun Company has signed a contract valued $4 billion with Germany on exporting 100 compressors, he said.
Export of these compressors would generate millions of dollars for the country, since in exporting the oil and gas cargo, the spare parts are also provided, Barani noted.
He further said that the company provides the compressors required by the domestic industries as well.
