TEHRAN (PIN) -- The most advanced thermal transducer, known as Packinox, has been installed in Shiraz Refinery - the first of the kind in the country.

Managing-Director of Shiraz Oil Refining Company Farrokh Beyzaie said the thermal transducer shows less loss in the pressure and gives better efficiency. "Up to now the refinery produced around one million liter of gasoline -- 800,000 liters of high-octane type," he said, adding: "Now we can add 300,000 liters to the production."

Packinox designs, develops and fabricates heavy duty welded-plate heat exchangers for new units and debottlenecking revamps in the hydrocarbons industry.
