National Petrochemical Company (NPC) awarded on Tuesday a contract on urea and Ammonia projects in Golestan, Zanjan and Lordegan to Stamicarbon company of the Netherlands.

The agreement for the petrochemical projects was signed by NPC officials and Stamicarbon of the Netherlands. The contract is worth 7.816 million euros.

Stamicarbon has one of the best urea technologies in the world, and licensor has guaranteed the production of 3,250 tons of urea per day.

Engineering and construction works on main plants together with utilities and accessories will be executed by Iranian consultants and contractors under the management.
