Amman, May 8 (Petra)

The Lower House of Parliament on Wednesday voted unanimously on a proposal requesting the government to ask the Israeli Ambassador to leave the Kingdom in response to the Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The deputies also voted unanimously, in a session chaired by Lower House Speaker Saad Hayel Srour, on recalling the Jordanian Ambassador from Tel Aviv.

The House entrusted the Arab and International Affairs Committee with the task of issuing a strongly worded statement about the Israeli violations against Al Aqsa and other Islamic and Christian holy sites.

Srour said all recommendations and proposals presented by the Parliament in response to such Israeli actions will be sent to the government for relevant decisions to be made.
