Electrical Machines Industries (Bahrain) , a rapidly growing and one of the largest rewinding companies, has conducted the first-ever testing of a high-voltage motor at the rated voltage of 6600 Volt, 50Hz at the rated speed of 3000 rpm from a rewinding company in one of the GCC countries. The motor owned by Petroleum Development Oman was tested in the presence of PDO representative Saif Al Brashdi.

Present on the occasion were German ambassador Herrmann, Ahmed Ibrahim Engineer, the chairman and owner of Muharraq Engineering Group of Companies, and Norbert Engel, general manager of Electrical Machines Industries (Bahrain). Also present were representatives of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, representative from Hidd Power Company as well as technical people of AGGREKO, headed by Russel Moxham, who provide the equipments and technical support for the test.
